沈柏均

出生於臺北的沈柏均，為旅美鋼琴家與音樂教育者，專精於鋼琴獨奏與合作演出，並在美國累積豐富的教學經驗。其演奏注重細膩的音色層次、清晰的結構掌握與真誠而有張力的音樂表達，展現扎實的專業訓練與成熟的舞台經驗。

沈柏均畢業於美國茱莉亞音樂學院（The Juilliard School），於2022年取得鋼琴演奏學士學位，師承 Jerome Lowenthal 教授；並於2024年取得鋼琴演奏碩士學位，師承陳宏寬教授。赴美深造前，他先後受教於金聖美老師、王珊珊老師及張瑟瑟老師，在臺灣奠定扎實而嚴謹的音樂基礎。

演出足跡遍及美國、亞洲與歐洲，曾登上 Walt Disney Concert Hall、Zipper Concert Hall、Peter Jay Sharp Theater、上海音樂廳、日本正眼寺大會堂、台南文化中心，以及義大利佛羅倫斯 Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori 等舞台。留學期間，他亦積極參與室內樂與合作演出，曾於 Juilliard ChamberFest 演出巴爾托克《雙鋼琴與打擊樂奏鳴曲》，並與鋼琴家 Umi Garrett 受邀參加緬因州 Bay Chamber Concert Series 進行雙鋼琴演出。

除了演奏之外，沈柏均亦長期投入音樂教育。2022至2025年間，他曾於茱莉亞音樂學院擔任多項教學研究員與教學助理職務，教授副修鋼琴，並參與音樂理論、鍵盤和聲與鍵盤技能等課程之指導，同時協助課綱規劃、課程執行、教材準備與行政相關事務，累積高等音樂教育中的教學、協調與管理經驗。

沈柏均的教學重視技術基礎、音樂理解、聽覺訓練與演奏能力的整合。回到台灣後，他希望將在茱莉亞所接受的專業演奏訓練，以及在美國音樂院環境中累積的教學與行政經驗，帶回台灣與更多學生分享，並持續貢獻於音樂教育的發展。

Jimmy Shen

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Jimmy Shen is a pianist and music educator who has established his career in the United States. Specializing in both solo piano performance and collaborative piano, he has accumulated extensive teaching experience in American higher music education. His performances are distinguished by refined tonal nuance, structural clarity, and expressive sincerity, reflecting both rigorous professional training and mature artistic musicianship.

Jimmy Shen graduated from The Juilliard School, earning a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance in 2022 under the guidance of Professor Jerome Lowenthal, followed by a Master of Music in Piano Performance in 2024, studying with Professor Hung-Kuan Chen. Prior to his studies in the United States, he received his foundational musical training in Taiwan under the instruction of Sheng-Mei Chin, Shan-Shan Wang, and Se-Se Chang, establishing a strong and disciplined artistic foundation.

His performances have taken him throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe, appearing at such distinguished venues as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Zipper Concert Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Shanghai Concert Hall, Shōgen-ji Grand Hall in Japan, Tainan Cultural Center, and the Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori in Florence, Italy. During his years at Juilliard, he was also an active chamber musician and collaborative pianist, performing Bartók's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion at Juilliard ChamberFest, and was invited, together with pianist Umi Garrett, to present a two-piano recital as part of the Bay Chamber Concert Series in Maine.

In addition to his performance career, Jimmy Shen has been deeply committed to music education. From 2022 to 2025, he served in multiple instructional and academic support roles at The Juilliard School, including Teaching Fellow and Teaching Assistant. In these capacities, he taught secondary piano students, assisted with courses in music theory, keyboard harmony, and keyboard skills, and contributed to curriculum development, course administration, instructional preparation, and other academic responsibilities. These experiences provided him with extensive expertise in teaching, academic coordination, and higher music education administration.

As a teacher, Jimmy Shen emphasizes the integration of technical mastery, musical understanding, aural development, and expressive performance. Upon returning to Taiwan, he hopes to share the professional performance training he received at Juilliard, together with the teaching and administrative experience he gained within the American conservatory system, with a new generation of students while continuing to contribute to the advancement of music education in Taiwan.
